Research Interests

  • Prefrontal cortex contributions to the structure of motivated behavior
  • How the brain tracks the passage of time
  • Communication between prefrontal brain regions

Research Lab

In the CAB Lab we study the neural and behavioral mechanisms that exert control over choices and adjustment of behavior to changes in the environment. We specifically focus on cortical circuits involved in decision-making and interval timing in a mouse model system. Students in the lab gain experience in neural measurement, behavioral data collection, and computational analysis techniques, aligned with their goals and interests.
