Ms. Gonzalez is a native of San Francisco, although she makes her home in the South Bay now. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a B.S. in Business. She has worked at Santa Clara University since 1991, first in the Counseling Psychology and Education offices. For years, she heard good things about the Religious Studies Department, and so in 1998 "moved up in the world" (from second floor Bannan) and into our department.
Ms. Gonzalez is an avid nature-lover and has managed to visit many of the national parks in the United States as well as a few in Canada. She is our resident resource on redwoods, glaciers, and everywhere her travels have taken her. Another interest is in Bay Area sports, especially the San Francisco Giants. In fact, if she's not in the office, chances are she's taken an afternoon off at AT&T Park.
