Kimberly Mohne Hill
Kimberly Mohne Hill is the Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance and a Professor of Voice & Speech and Acting with a scholarly emphasis in Dialect. She received her MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. She is also a certified Patsy Rodenburg™ Associate in the field of Voice, Speech and Presence training.
Professor Hill is known throughout the Bay Area and beyond as an in-demand Voice & Dialect Coach – having coached over 175 productions at such theaters as A.C.T., Berkeley Rep, TheatreWorks, San Jose Rep, San Jose Stage Company and Marin Theater Company…among others. Her work on the World Premiere of Pride & Prejudice: The Musical can be seen on Amazon Prime.
At SCU, Professor Hill teaches Acting, Voice and Speech, Dialects, Improvisation, and Musical Theatre. Additionally, she frequently leads Voice and Presentation Skills workshops for the University community at large and for corporate and social justice clients such as the Northern California Innocence Project (photo at right).
Kimberly Mohne Hill was named a Silicon Valley Artist Laureate by SVCreates in 2018
and received SCU's Professor Joseph Bayma, S.J., Scholarship Award in 2022.
