Danielle Fuentes Morgan
English, Director
Dr. Danielle Fuentes Morgan is an associate professor in the Department of English with a courtesy appointment in Ethnic Studies. Her work and experiences are at the intersection of arts and humanities. She is the author of Laughing to Keep from Dying: African American Satire in the Twenty-First Century which engages literature, film, television, and visual art. Her writing has also appeared in or is forthcoming in a variety of venues, including Biography: An Interdisciplinary Quarterly, Pre/Text: A Journal of Rhetorical Theory, Journal of Science Fiction, Vulture, Racialicious, and Al Jazeera, as well as with Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press. She is currently working on a second book on twenty-first-century artistic production and is also co-editing an interdisciplinary volume on African American humor for Oxford University Press. In addition, she has a background in vocal technique and musical theater performance and continues to sing in a choir. Ciara Ennis
de Saisset Museum Director
Ciara Ennis is the Director and Chief Curator of the de Saisset Museum, Santa Clara University, California, and Professor of Practice in the Department of Art and Art History. Her curatorial practice examines the constructed nature of historical and cultural records and the politics of museal display. Recent projects include Jonathan Calm: Archives of Absence & Sites of Passage (2026); Monica Rodriguez: Californiana; Julia Haft-Candell: The Yet to Be (2023-24); Maya Gurantz: The Plague Archives (2023-25); Beatriz Cortez: Cosmic Portals (2022); and Cammie Staros: House of the Muses (2022). A Museum Studies scholar, her research explores the appropriation of Wunderkammer strategies as a means for rethinking museal and exhibitionary practice. Ennis has been a panelist and guest speaker for the Sixteenth Century Society, College Arts Association, American Studies Association, the International Sculpture Conference, the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries, the California Community Foundation, the Rijksakademie Amsterdam, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Ennis has an MA (RCA) in Contemporary Curatorial Practice from the Royal College of Art, and a PhD in Cultural Studies/Museum Studies from Claremont Graduate University.
Britt Cain
Academic Department Manager
Britt supports the Center for the Arts and Humanities by coordinating the CAH budget, events, social media, fellowships, public relations, and website content. She enjoys working with the CAH team, advisors, and fellows to help plan future CAH opportunities, projects, and programs. Britt understands the value of supporting the arts and humanities and is excited to continue bringing dynamic programming to the university that resonates with students, faculty, staff, and the community.

DeeDee is a Web Design and Engineering student who is excited to play part in promoting CAH’s initiatives by building and managing the official center website.
