Tony Hazard is Professor of Ethnic Studies (and History by courtesy). He teaches courses on the Black Freedom Movement. He is currently working on his third monograph titled Afro-Indigeneity, Family Remembrance and the Narragansett of Rhode Island. This project is most recently funded by the American Philosophical Society Franklin Research Grant and the University Research Grant, Santa Clara University.
